This week in the DVG:
- We worked on our Indeterminate Tomato plants. They grew taller than the stakes, so we cut the tops off & planted the tops right in the ground to start a second season of tomato plants. Tomato plants can be “determinate” or “indeterminate.” Indeterminate plants do not have a fixed time that they produce fruit… they will produce fruit all season. (see pictures below)
- We also planted a second crop of Beans & Cucumbers.
- Tomato cuttings will take root easily of provided with water.
